Singing for Fun began a couple of years ago as a project for Stockport Mind. Since then it has evolved and is now an independent organisation and organises workshops and events across the North West of England.

Sheila Gott is a respected professional singer and vocal coach. Some of her previous students have included: Robbie Williams, Lauren Waterworth, Maxx, Northern Uproar and various soap stars.


Allan Gray is a Manchester based counsellor with 20 years experience and he has also developed a unique way of working with people by introducing playfulness and fun into all of the work he undertakes. He's also been involved in facilitating Singing for Fun groups for the past five years.


Kim Roberts has been a piano / keyboard and music theory teacher for over 15 years. She teaches all age ranges, from singing and music activities for the very young and in preschool / nursery, to all ages, through private Piano and theory tuition. She also accompanies and helps facilitate music sessions at SPARC, a day centre for vulnerable adults. Another of the services that SPARC provides are music Inreach sessions for patients at Stepping Hill hospital. Kim provides support through playing percussion, singing and helping to facilitate the sessions.

She has been the keyboard player for Singing4fun for two years and helps organise and administer the group with Allan and Sheila.
